Sony launches Android based SmartWatch 2 with NFC facility Sony has officially launched the much awaited SmartWatch 2 in the markets. This latest SmartWatch variant is a wearable watch that has been powered by Android operating system and comes with the remote functionality which was there in the earlier version as well. Sony SmartWatch 2 can be used to see who is calling the user and through a wireless Bluetooth headset, users can also take the call. One can also browse through the call log to make a call. This device sports a 1.6 inch touchscreen display with 220�176 pixel count and has been made using aluminium. This is a water and dust resistant device on which users can also read SMSs, emails, Facebook and Twitter and also check the calendar. VLC Launches VLC Media Player v2 0 A Major Upgrade VideoLAN has finally rolled out its latest VLC Media Player version 2.0.  The VLC 2.0 brings all new features and new UI for Windows and Mac users. Its a major upgrade for VLC with faster decoding on multi-core GPU and mobile hardware and the ability to open more formats, HD and 10bits codecs etc. VLC Media Player v2.0 Mac will see a completely redesigned Mac and Web interfaces and improvements in the other interfaces which make VLC easier than ever to use. Windows users will have Blu-Ray playback support as an experimental feature. The VLC version 2.0 has codename "Twoflower" and comes with a rendering pipeline for video, better quality subtitles and new filters for enhancing video.
