Sony Releases Android 7 1 1 Nougat Update for Xperia X Concept

Sony Officially proclaimed Month back that it plans to be the first OEM to unleash Android 7.1.1 Nougat update 4 its smartphones.
Today the company has started sending out another update 4 the Xperia X Concept firmware, and the big new thing is that its now basically on Android 7.1.1 and not 7.0. This makes Sony the first mobile device maker except Google to have come out with the absolute latest version of the OS, even if were talking about a very limited release here.

The Android 7.1.1 update is currently only available to those that hae chosen the Experimental update track when they installed the Concept 4 Android release. That said, its probably headed to the Stable track in a few weeks or so. As 4 when owners of the Xperia X who arent part of the Concept testing will get Android 7.1.1, thats anyones guess at this point.
amongst the most important changes added by Sony in this update, theres a new Restart option in the power button menu. The addition of a Restart option was one of the most requested features, Sony claims.
Another important improvement is support 4 PlayStation for remote-play. However, keep in mind that the smartphone does not feature DualShock support 4 the moment. Also, the official changelog mentions the update brings faster camera startup time as well.
