Apple Icloud Drive Shared Folder
1) login to icloud.com using your apple id, then go to the icloud drive app and select the file you want to share. 2) click on the share icon that resembles the outline of a person’s head. you will now see who you are currently sharing this document with.. Besides a folder share option icloud drive needs a "selective sync" option that the user controls like dropbox, google drive and onedrive. i can't believe that apple does not let the user control.

Icloud drive lets you organize your files with folders, rename them, and tag them with colors. and when you make a change, the update is made across all your devices. you can even have everything in your mac desktop and documents folders automatically available in icloud drive..
